California Community College Chief Instructional Officers Conference: Planned and facilitated a general session address for California community college chief academic affairs officers on the topic: Changing Our Hiring Practices in Pursuit of Equity and Diversity.

San Francisco State University Academic Advisor Conference: delivered a keynote address and facilitated a workshop and consultation for the Undergraduate Advising Office, deans, faculty and other members of the campus community.

Ventura County Community College District: Planned and facilitated Cultural Competence & Implicit Bias Workshops for Hiring Committees at the District's three campuses--Moorpark College, Oxnard College, and Ventura College.

Contra Costa Community College JobLinks Conference: Planned and facilitated a keynote/professional development program for 160 Classified professionals from the District's three colleges:. 

Kyrene School District (Tempe, AZ) Superintendent's Community Council: Planned and facilitated the initial meeting of District principals, vice-principals, staff, parents and community leaders to establigh the purposes and goals of the Council. 

Riverside Community College District Foundation Board Retreat: Planned and facilitated a retreat for the Foundation Board, District Chancellor and College Presidents.

11th Annual African American Male Summit African American Male Education Network and Development (A2MEND): presented two invited sessions faculty and administrators (Reframing At-Risk to High Potential: Increasing Engagement, Learning and Success for African American/Black Male Students in College) and for students (From the 'Hood and for the 'Hood: Keeping It Real While Walking in Many Worlds).

Texas Tech University: Facilitated a two-day series of professional development presentations for the Division of Institutional Diversity, Equity & Community Engagement: Audiences included: President's Cabinet, Faculty, and Staff

American Association of Physics Teachers Conference on Enhancing Undergraduate Physics Programs at Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs): delivered a keynote address and facilitated a discussion exploring best practices for teaching, mentoring, and retaining students at HSIs; supporting the development of institutional and programmatic changes at HSIs and in physics professional societies.

Pasadena City College Office of Financial Aid: planned and facilitated professional development workshops for staff

Alliance of Hispanic Serving Institution Educators (AHSIE) Best Practices Conference: Delivered an invited Special Topic Session and a Concurrent presentation

City of San Leandro (CA) Recreation and Human Services Department: planned and Facilitated a Team Building Retreat

California Community Colleges Classified Senate 2015 Leadership Institute: delivered the Keynote Address

Planned and Facilitated a Year-long Academic Advising development project for Arkansas's 22 community colleges, including four two-day regional workshops, individualized campus action plans to improve advising and related services, and dedicated webinars to be available to all campuses for one year following the project.

Cultural Competence/Implicit Bias Training for Safe Alternatives To Violent Environments (SAVE) volunteers working to strengthen efforts to break the cycle of domestic violence and enable individuals, families, and communities to build healthier lives, with Dr. Yasmine Safinya Davies.

Los Angeles Community College District Board of Trustees: Planned and developed a self assessment process for one of the nation's largest community college districts, as is required by the regional accrediting agency.

Cultural Competence/Implicit Bias Workshops: implemented a semester long series of half-day sessions for 900 community college faculty, administrators and classified staff. 

Title V external review processes; completed annual external reviews for public and private, two- and four-year Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs) as is required by the US Department of Education. 

Regional accreditation retreat for a six campus community college district.

Summer Symposium on Academic Advising: designed and implemented a week long series of professional development workshops for faculty, lead administrators, and academic advisors from Arkansas 22 community colleges.

Facilitated retreats for a community college president's leadership team.

Cultural Competence/Implicit Bias workshop: developed and implemented a half-day workshop for faculty and staff serving as monitors on hiring committees in comprehensive community college district.

Keynote Address for The IOWA Conference on Diversity in Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM)

Collaborated with the President and Executive Staff at an adult-serving university to focus the campus on the challenges of creating a diversity plan consistent with their specific institutional mission, programs, and limited resources.

Assisted dean-level staff at a public research university to develop an assessment plan for academic services programs that would gain broad support for assessment from major stakeholders (i.e., faculty, administrative leadership).

Cultural Competence/Implicit Bias Workshops: implemented a semester-long series of half-day workshops for faculty, administrators and staff at a SUNY Brockport.

Facilitated team-building workshops for front-line administrative and clerical staff in the Enrollment Management unit of a public research university.

Facilitated a series of faculty and staff development workshops at Title V institutions to enable them to respond more effectively to an increasingly Latino/Hispanic and first-generation immigrant student body.

Facilitated a staff development program for student Resident Assistants, which was specifically designed to rebuild trust and confidence following a series of emotionally charged campus conflicts.

Assisted the principal and staff at a charter high school to develop a college counseling program for their students, most of whom are from at-risk backgrounds.

Motivational orientation speakers for entering college students and speakers to a group of first-generation, multicultural college students.

Planned and implemented a development workshop for recent college graduates who serve as teachers, volunteers, and staff at inner city schools and community programs in the US, Mexico and Caribbean.

Provided a yearlong series of workshops for faculty and staff at a predominantly white high school that is seeking to increase the enrollment of minority students, while creating a campus that is more inclusive and supportive for all of community members.

Supported a major foundation board to assess their responsiveness to their constituent communities and assisted them to devise a plan for increasing Board diversity.

Cultural Competence/Implicit Bias Workshop: Facilitated a workshop for CSU East Bay to support department chairs in their efforts to recruit a more diverse faculty.
